The long-awaited virtual reality system for the PlayStation®, the PlayStation®VR, arrives today at the Portuguese stores by the RRP estimated 399 €.
The PlayStation®VR provides to the player a unique feeling of immersion and presence in the game and is compatible with the PlayStation®4, which has more than 40 million units installed all over the world. This experience is possible because the HP®VR uses technologies such as monitoring of the head, 360-degree view, wide field of view, high update rates, and the technology binaural SIE 3D audio.
“We are very excited to bring the virtual reality to the PlayStation®4,” said Jim Ryan, President of the SIEE. "The HP®VR puts the player in the center of the action, immersing them in the extraordinary new worlds. The HP®VR is a milestone in home entertainment, and need to be experienced in order to believe".
When using peripherals such as PlayStation®Move Motion Controller, DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller and the PS®VR Aim the Controller, players can explore virtual environments and intuitively interact with the characters as if they were actually present in the game world.
in Addition to the PlayStation®VR, the Portuguese players will still receive a disk with 8 games demos free and can download the game The Playroom VR, which allows for a multiplayer experience to share with family and friends – for free in the PlayStation®Store. The launch is also accompanied by a line of 30 games, including exclusive titles such as Rez Infinite (Monstars & Enhance Games), Batman ™: Arkham VR (RockSteady and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment), Driveclub VR and RIGS Mechanized Combat League (SIE Worldwide Studios). In total, the HP®VR will have a catalogue of about 50 games until the end of the year.
THE HP®VR will be launched with a large and diverse mix of games first and third-party, including EVE: Valkyrie (CCP Games), leash’s thumper (Drool), 100ft Robot Golf (In Goblin), Job Simulator (Owlchemy Games), Superhypercube (Polytron), Battlezone (Rebellion), Eagle Flight (Ubisoft), Here They Lie™, PlayStation®VR WORLDS and Until Dawn™: Rush of Blood (SIE WWS).
