Facebook tests app similar to Snapchat – Diário de Notícias – Lisbon

The Messenger Day will allow you to send photos, videos, and stickers that disappear in 24 hours, such as Snapchat

After the Instagram have created the Instagram Stories that enables you to publish photos and videos that are deleted automatically after 24 hours, such as Snapchat, now it is the turn of Facebook to create something very similar to this application.

The site TechCrunch advances that Facebook is testing Messenger Day users of Facebook in Australia. This new application allows users to send photos, videos, and stickers for Messenger that disappear in 24 hours.

A spokesman responsible for this application told the website that “we know that people come to the Messenger to share the moments of your day with friends and family. In Australia we are doing a small test. New ways for people to share those updates visually.”

Facebook had already tested in Poland this new application, but now released it for the first English-speaking market.

The spokesman said that there are still no guarantees of a full release of this application and that this will depend on how it is received during the tests.

“we don’t have anything more to announce,” said the spokesman, without comment on whether you want to take the Messenger Day to other markets.
