This is the first motorcycle created by a 3D printer – TVI24

Airbus introduced the first motorcycle created from a 3D printer. Light Rider weighs 35 kg and has common materials in aircraft.

The motor vehicle was designed by APWorks, a subsidiary of Airbus specializes in 3D technology for the printing of metallic objects.

Light Rider was built using corrosion-resistant materials that combine “aluminum light weight with titanium resistance,” explains APWorks on the company website.

the bike is electric and is equipped with a six horsepower engine that allows you to reach speeds up to 80 km / h, going from 0 to 45 km / h in three seconds. The batteries have a range of 60 kilometers.

Initially APWorks will produce 50 copies of Light Riders. Each bike will cost $ 50,000, about EUR 44.8 million.
