Starbreeze exhibited StarVR with a virtual reality experience at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June 2015, the acquisition of the French company Infinite Eye, which brought StarVR HMD technology along with a team of engineering. In January 2016, the Starbreeze announced VR centers dedicated to provide customers with a diving experiences “premium” in virtual reality. The company opened its first movie experience in VR, called “Cockatoo Spritz” directed by Stephane Barbato. The production was shown at Cannes, during the first week of the festival.
