it’s called Hyperloop the ambitious project of Elon Musk, which aims to raise the bar on train travel. The supersonic train prototype designed by Elon Musk passed its first major test.

In his first public statement, and though far from the speed ‘dreamed’ by Elon Musk, the Hyperloop reached a speed of 185 km / h in two seconds. It should be noted that this first test occurred on common rail, which is not the concept for Hyperloop.

According to Elon Musk, the Hyperloop compositions work in vacuum tunnels support a levitation system. Only in this way can achieve the dizzying speed of 1000 km / h.

The first test to Hyperloop, held in Las Vegas, is the first of several tests which should happen this year. The project provides the first line for passengers to work in 2021.

“Today we are one step closer to making the Hyperloop reality. Let’s get transport cargo in 2019 and we believe to be able to do the same with passenger and security, in 2021, “said the general director of the project, Rob Lloyd.
