TeslaCrypt ransomware is malware that hijacks user data by encrypting them and forcing them to pay sums of money to come back to free. It is now known that ESET found a solution to the ransomware.

ESET, a security company, has launched a free software in order to help users break free of TeslaCrypt ransomware.

It was just a play of chance. ESET analyst, knowing that the group of hackers responsible for TeslaCrypt ransomware would complete its activities, tried his luck and contacted those responsible.

In this contact, ESET analyst got the key to decrypting the TeslaCrypt and officials decided to make it public.

it should be noted that this ESET tool only works with file extensions that have the .xxx, .ttt, .mp3 and .micro. To remove the ransomware can follow this link and see more information on own ESET page.

If it was one of the infected by TeslaCrypt ransomware, you can follow the link above for more information or follow this link and install the extension with the respective key decryption
