Facebook wants to improve ad viewing experience – Tech & Net

Facebook is working to get better ad viewing experience for users. Much of the news and information we read online, together with games, videos and other things we like, are supported by advertising. Facebook believes that companies can do better, and that’s why we are focused on improving the ads both on Facebook and off the social network.

The ads are reviewed according to the standards Facebook and to ensure that respect the experience of people in the best possible way. For example, Facebook does not allow ads that include sound unless there is interaction by the user, and also prohibit fraudulent ads and ads for products and services that are not safe. Facebook has developed technology to determine when someone clicks by mistake on an advertisement on a mobile device, so as not to be redirected to the site or app that did not intend to visit.

The social network is also to enable the control by the user himself about the ads you see, including tools to disable advertising based on interests online. Who have an account, you can do so directly through your Facebook settings , and the settings will be performed wherever the user to use Facebook.

Preferences ads of users also help Facebook to show better ads on and off Facebook. For those who have an account, you can edit your ads preferences to indicate to Facebook if you want to display ads based on specific interests such as travel or television. Starting today, users can disable ad viewing apps and websites that are not provided by Facebook, based on your ads preferences. You can do it through the Facebook settings or by clicking on the AdChoices icon next to the Audience Network ad.
