India wants to explore space with reusable ship – Exam Information

The ship was sent into space at 09:00 am local time, arrived at 43 miles altitude, about 70 kilometers, and returned to the mainland and can be reused for new flights. The used model measures only seven meters and is not intended to transport passengers. Indian researchers just wanted to prove that the concept works and that the next steps can help make that country a space power, like the US, Russia or China.

The achievement of the Indian space agency assumes contours greater when one realizes that this whole mission cost only $ 14 million. The agency has already made famous by rival the big players, even on a budget, remember the Engadget .

It is known that NASA, ULA, SpaceX and Blue Origin are working on models of reusable ships as well.

See a video with a summary of the mission.
