The Pro Apple iPad hits stores later this week, but is available for orders now online from Wednesday. The new iPad will be available in more than 40 countries, including Portugal, USA, UK, China and Japan.
According to Reuters, Apple has sold nearly 55 million iPads during the year ended September, representing a decrease of 19% over the same period last year. Sales of iPads have been falling for several quarters, as consumers have preferred iPhones with bigger screens.
Apple introduced the iPad Pro September 9th in order to rival the Surface Pro 3 from Microsoft.
The Pro iPad has 5.6 million pixels in the Retina screen with the highest resolution of all the iOS operating system devices. It is also possible to edit videos in 4K, create presentations or run a business. The iPad Pro also has the system “Multi-touch” renovated, which enables new ways to interact with the device.
