The social network Facebook will launch next week Notify, an application that includes tens publications content, as the newspaper The Washington Post, the Vogue and chain CBS, television reported today to Efe.
The British daily Financial Times was the first to inform the possible launch that also echo other media like CNN television network.
According to the information disclosed, and on which the Facebook declined to comment, Notify will include content from printed media, digital and video production companies, such as US cable Comedy Central channel.
Among the partners are also the ‘site’ Mashable and the publication of Billboard music.
The news about the launch of mobile news application comes after the social network have said this week that more than 894 million of the more than 1,000 million users accessing daily the network do so through mobile phone, which makes it a priority support.
Added to this is that ads on mobile phones now account for 78% of total advertising revenues of the company, which increased 45.4% in the third quarter to 4,300 million dollars.
Companies like Facebook, Twitter and Google set in motion initiatives to streamline the digital distribution of content, which could lead to an increase in advertising revenue.
Last month, Google announced an alliance with 30 media to create the first universal format and open source to publish and distribute content more quickly via mobile devices.

The snapchat company, a popular application among young people, introduced the Discover in January, a video function that succeeded in getting attract publicity and sparked concern about the potential for untapped revenue on videos distributed via mobile phones.
