The maximum temperatures will rise gradually from Monday, is predicting however, over the weekend, values between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius, told the Lusa agency meteorologist Cristina Simões.
“On Saturday we will have a rise in maximum temperatures, but nothing approaching 40 degrees from the previous weekend and early week [it went]. In Lisbon and Faro for example will reach 30 degrees and in Évora Faro 36 and 23, “said the meteorologist Sea Portuguese Institute and the Atmosphere (IPMA).
According to Cristina Simões, next Sunday, the maximum temperature will be maintained and, from Monday is expected a steeper climb.
“The beginning of the week will be warmer, with higher temperatures on the coast. Throughout the week is expected to climb. The minimum will remain as they are, in order of 13/15 degrees, “he said.
Despite the rise in maximum temperature from Monday, Cristina Simões explained that, for now, one can not speak of a “heat wave”.
