Alexis Tsipras, Greek Prime Minister, spoke to reporters after a long night of negotiations. He defended the agreement and said it faces difficult decisions and painful dilemmas.
“But this agreement will allow us to get up again,” he added.
Tsipras revealed that persuaded leaders not to place the new fund recapitalization of EUR 50 billion in Luxembourg. The money will stay in Athens.
The Greek Prime Minister, Greece gained even a medium-term financing and a possible debt relief.
Tsipras is now facing the Greek Parliament . Indeed, so that the agreement can enter into force it must be approved by Wednesday.
