The bad weather that hit the northeast of the county, the island of Sao Miguel, Azores, on the last morning caused damage to 21 houses and eight families will sleep today away from home said the mayor.
Carlos Mendonça told Lusa that these families “difficult situation” have all been rehoused temporarily, with relatives, some for security reasons, as it continues to raining and the weather prolonged the orange warning until Friday morning.

The Northeast of the county was the most affected by the bad weather that hits the Azores since Wednesday, with the archipelago come to be under red warning weather (most severe) until this morning.
The Azorean civil protection registered over thirty occurrences in the last dawn related to the rain.

The archipelago remains under orange warning (the least severe second) until Friday morning because of the rain.
