Android Pay: system to pay with your phone starts up – Globo.com

The Google has finally released the Android Pay . The payment system that allows you to purchase using a phone with Android can be used in devices with NFC technology and Android 4.4 (KitKat). The service is already running in the United States, but has yet to arrive forecast for Brazil or other countries.

The question about how the Android Pay is related to the the support of credit and debit cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. The system creates a virtual account, instead of sending the actual number of cards in stores. By touching the smartphone in maquinha payments, Android Pay own releases the transaction.

Once a purchase is made, the user receives a confirmation stating where and when the transaction was effected. This is useful to identify possible suspicious activity. If the phone is stolen or lost, the payment system is blocked by Android Device Manager.

By the end of the year, Android Pay will receive new functions, including the possibility of used for purchases within apps. Support for loyalty cards or mileage, gift vouchers and discount coupons will also be released in the coming months.

The question is how will the performance of Android Pay versus Apple Pay , which is present in the latest generation of Apple’s smartphone ( iPhone 6S , iPhone 6S Plus , iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus ).

With today’s release, the Google Wallet will be used for sending and receiving money, a mold similar to the PayPal .
