Traffic restored in central Porto found after … – Daily News – Lisbon

traffic accesses to the Largo Mompilher in Porto, have been reinstated after a Mills Investigation Team Explosives PSP have found that a suspicious bag, found at the site, not a danger.

Speaking to the Lusa agency, the commander of the Municipal Police of Porto, António Leitão da Silva, moved the alert was given at about 14:40 by people passing nearby and are surprised to see there the object.

“A team of municipal police was informed that here was a suspicious bag and, from there, all the necessary protocols were triggered,” he said.

The streets were closed to public for reasons security, and an agent with anti-explosive protection equipment isolated the suitcase and opened it, finding that inside there was no mill.

The object in question, a small suitcase, found themselves in front of a cafe nearby.
