More than a hundred are still operating on Sunday combating the fire that broke out on Saturday night in a jungle district of Alcobertas in Rio de Maior, Santarém district, according to information from the National Civil Protection Authority ( ANPC).
On site are 26 fire engines and a helicopter, according to the Civil Protection bulletin issued at 9:43.
The fire, which broke out at 21:03 on Saturday, progresses this morning “in place of difficult access to the combat vehicles.”
