The islands of the Azores Central Group are now under orange warning, the second most serious of a four-scale due to the forecast of rain, said the Sea Portuguese Institute and the atmosphere.
Second the Sea Portuguese Institute and the Atmosphere (IPMA), will be under orange warning the islands of Graciosa, Terceira, São Jorge, Faial and Pico.
On Thursday, the Azores archipelago was under Red warning, the most serious of a range of four.
In yellow alert, the third most serious of a four-scale, are today the Azorean islands of the western group (Flores and Corvo) and the Eastern Group (São Miguel and Santa Maria).
In yellow warning is also coast north and south of Madeira, the Mountainous region and the island of Porto Santo.
