The Google announced on Monday (10) a change in its corporate structure, which will put each area of its business under the umbrella of a new company, named Alphabet, led by its original founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. With the change, one of its current Vice-Presidents, Sundar Pichai, becomes the new CEO of Google Inc., the company’s Internet service arm. (see below how is the new structure)
In 2004, the Indian Pichai Sundararajan had just come into a company that had just debut on the stock exchange, under the skepticism which accompanied the generation of companies swallowed by the Internet bubble. Eleven years later and known as Sundar, the executive 43 takes over as CEO of the subsidiary that generates most of the revenues of $ 66 billion a year and was created by the largest structural change in the history of technology company.
With the announcement of this second, done quietly through a posting on the company blog, Page and Brin not only announced a new leader for business. They released a new design of the company’s corporate structure that has become synonymous with Internet search.
