Police proceed with protest actions against non-status approval – Digital Journal



The Trade Union Association of Police Professionals (ASPP / PSP) announced that it will hold several protest actions to contest the rejection of the professional status of the PSP by the Government.
 

The president of the ASPP, Paulo Rodrigues, advanced to the Lusa agency that the union leaders will meet in coming days to decide and select forms of struggle, which is expected to take time with the realization several protests.

“Today was the deadline that the ASPP gave the government to approve the Council of Ministers professional status,” said Paulo Rodrigues, stating that, once again, the union was confronted with his failure.

However, the Minister of the Presidency said today that the statutes of PSP and GNR are “processes that are not yet completed,” but that “timely” will be discussed and approved by the Cabinet
