The Judiciary Police (PJ) of Aveiro today announced the arrest of a man, 50, suspected of stabbing a daughter in the context of domestic violence, Mira municipality, Coimbra district.
According to PJ, since the end of July, the suspect is separated from his wife, who “left the house where the couple lived with a younger daughter, to escape the bad physical and mental abuse that her husband inflicted on her, repeatedly, for many years, “going live home of another daughter.
According to investigators, the suspect tried several times unsuccessfully that his wife came home.
Not satisfied with the separation, on Monday morning, a “violent emotional uncontrolled outburst”, the individual stabbed his daughter, 27, in the chest and a leg.
The detainee, who is indicted for alleged practice of crimes of murder, attempted in the way, and domestic violence, will be brought before the first court hearing for the application of enforcement measures.
