Ten units of R & D are positively reevaluated and pass the … – TV Science – News

                    In June, when the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) announced the results of the first phase (round) of the Assessment process R & amp units; D 2013, and before the period prior hearing, the 322 units that had applied for the evaluation, only 168 obtained classification to pass to the second phase.

Now, after 131 units have submitted requests for prior hearing, the FTC announced that twenty-one units saw their ratings being changed and that these ten are now joined the group of units that pass the second phase of the evaluation process .

So, according to a statement from the FCT, 178 Units of R & D that have 10922 integrated members, or 71% of the universe of researchers to develop activities in Units I & D who underwent evaluation , passed to the second phase.

On the other hand, 81 units with a universe of 2863 integrated members obtained the rating of “Good” but not passed to the second stage of the evaluation process. The FCT is that it will still funded 259 units R & D and without 63 Units will funding for R & D, which corresponds to 20% of 159 units evaluated with integrated members.
