Court of Japan orders Google to delete user data

Tokyo – A Japanese court ordered the American multinational Google to eliminate information about a user’s search engine.

At issue is a function of Google’s search, which suggests certain research are inserted when the first letters of the searched items motor.

The decision came following a complaint filed by a user in June, due to suggestions that appeared when researching for his name.

Your identity was apparently linked to crimes he did not commit, which have damaged its image and invaded their privacy.

The Japanese court sentenced a North American company to eliminate the 237 search suggestions involving details of the complainant
