A well-known car brand was inspired by one of its most popular models to build a car made entirely of cardboard. The Lexus Car Origami play to the last detail the IS saloon with cardboard cut slices with an impressive rigor.
Since the interior details, the wheels through the steering wheel, the mirrors and even the logo itself, only see card. 1700 were used 10 mm sheets of paper, cut in detail.
But not only paper lives this car. The paper rests on a steel framework and aluminum and has an electric motor. It is therefore possible to drive it, although with some limitations.
The Lexus is mentor of the project, which was executed by LASERCUT Works and Scales and Models. Altogether, they used three months of work to make this masterpiece.
