Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition is the farewell performance version in the US
Last week, Mitsubishi already seemed to have turned the Lancer page in the United market States to present a discreet facelift of the sedan in the country. Now, however, the automaker announced the arrival of the Evolution Series farewell performance version called Final Edition. Launched in April, in Japan, it will be sold for US $ 37,995 and will have only 1,600 units produced.
The Lancer Final Edition will be based on the GSR configuration and will feature the familiar 2.0 turbo four-cylinder engine. However, there will be a small increase in power compared to the Evo X with which he was accustomed: there are 12 horses more, totaling 303 hp (plus 42.1 mkgf torque). The transmission is five-speed manual, with four-wheel drive Super All-Wheel.
There are also visual changes in the special series. The aluminum ceiling was painted black, the light-alloy wheels Enkel have dark chrome finish, the air of the front fender and the hood entries come in glossy black and there is an insignia of the issue in the rear wing. By the way, all units of Final Edition have numbered paddles on the center console.
By the way, speaking at the model’s cabin, it will have features such as roof lining in black, the same color of the break-suns and handles the ceiling and stitching sport seats, steering wheel, gear knob and floor mats red. Other items, as used in the GSR version, are the traction and stability control, tire pressure monitoring and the seven airbags
