A French 18 year old died on Saturday after a fall from a 6th floor in Praia da Rocha, in Portimão, told Lusa source of District Relief Operations Command (CDOS ) Faro.
According to the same source, the warning was given to 20:17 and the death of the young man was declared on site, next to the building Rock Tower, composed of holiday apartments and located 150 meters from the beach.
Speaking to Lusa, the president of Portimão Council, Isilda Gomes, said that the victim was on vacation with the family and do not yet know the circumstances in which the death occurred .
At the site were the Portimão of Fire, a Medical Car Emergency and Resuscitation (VMER) of the National Institute of Medical Emergencies (INEM) and the PSP.
The investigation of the event was in charge of the Judicial Police (PJ).
