The fire in Pataias, in the municipality of Alcobaça, is extinct and aftermath, told Lusa the 2nd operational commander of Leiria, Luís Lopes.

                     

                          “The fire is extinguished and we started aftermath operations in full of the burnt area,” said the source.

The fire, which started at 14h18, forced the evacuation of a home and an ATL where they were about 100 users, which, however, have received return order.

In fighting the flames took part in 259 operations, supported by 77 terrestrial means and two air assets.
