In a statement, the CA said that the company Algeco – Prefabricated buildings, Elevatrans – Precast, Vendap Group, Movex – Production, Sale and Prefabricated Modules Rental and EMU – Steel Structures Unit were ordered to pay fines “totaling 831,810 euros for anti-competitive practices in public procurement procedures launched by the Parque Escolar, between 2009 and 2010″.
According to the regulator, these contests were for the supply and installation in rental regime of prefabricated modules for pre-installation of classrooms for the operation of school activities during construction the School Modernisation Programme.
