Operation PSN back to normal – Eurogamer.pt

After the storm yesterday it seems that everything is back to normal.

However the maintenance period that was scheduled for the end of the day today was postponed, and while Sony has not revealed a new date.

The PlayStation Network network was the victim of a DDoS attack, which despite having not affected the security of personal data of their users left the service offline for several hours, but apparently everything is already solved.

Hours later, after the DDoS attack, things got more serious. The American Airlines flight company, where he traveled the president of Sony Online Entertainment, John Smedley, was diverted after it was reported a bomb threat on the plane claimed by the same group responsible for the DDoS attack.

The FBI is already aware of the situation and is investigating.
