The inspector general of the ASAE highlighted the total value of seizures, which totaled EUR 10.7 million.
He stressed that in the field of food safety were obtained ‘some improvement’, and the default rate “decreased slightly” in 2014, to 22%, while in the same period of 2013 was 24%.
In the area of food security, were monitored in the first half of the year 9,099 operators, and seizures made by ASAE correspond to a total amount of 684 853 euros.
