Hackers attack rivals say they have ‘tipped’ Playstation Network – to the Minute News

rivals Hackers claim to have attacked the Playstation Network (PSN). However, the Xbox Live may be the new victim, advances the Guardian. As for the PSN, Sony said that the problems experienced this weekend are resolved.

This weekend, the owners of the latest models of the PlayStation could not access the Sony’s servers for several hours. The message that appeared on the screens indicated that the network was “down for maintenance”, further explains the British Guardian. However, the Japanese company said that the problems are already solved.

The attack in question will have been a relatively simple and common model, the so-called ‘distributed denial-of-service (DDoS)’, where hackers ‘bombard’ a given server with fake traffic to lose this ability to respond.

A group of hackers in question, the Lizard Group, is also suspected of being bound to a passenger jet flying Dallas to San Diego was diverted to Phoenix after a bomb threat. The board would be John Smedley, president of Sony Online Entertainment.

This group claimed responsibility for the attack. However, another hacker, simply titled Fame, criticized the rival group for having assumed responsibility for the attack, also assuming responsibility for the attack. However the Twitter account of the Lizard Group said that the Xbox Live, Microsoft’s service may be the next ‘victim’.

In 2011, the PSN had saved from an attack that went down in history as one of the largest of its kind, with Sony to see your server down for several days while data of about 70 million users were vulnerable.
