Humans, worms and flies have common molecular mechanisms – Daily IOL

The humans, worms and flies have common molecular mechanisms despite being separated by hundreds of millions of years of evolution, according to a study published Wednesday in the journal ‘Nature’.

According to the scientific publication, the discovery of the process by which hereditary information is included in the gene, such as the DNA sequence is processed, it is useful to aid in cell research and understanding the onset of disease.

Two studies conducted by scientists from American universities of Harvard and Stanford converge on the idea that even if humans, worms and flies have little resemblance to its evolution had very similar molecular tools to shape.
