Qualcomm does not seem to holds up the will to just show off your new chip for drones, the Snapdragon Flight , and released the teaser above to talk about some features of the new component. The official debut of the product will take place on CES 2016 , which starts next week.
Among the features mentioned in the video, the most interesting is the standalone flight , which actually features a drone. You can take the vehicle by remote control up to a certain point and then activate the unattended mode, it returns alone dodging obstacles. For this, the platform is equipped with a fluid optical camera, obstacle mapping, visual odometry inertia and motion planning.
Qualcomm will show more and bring other official information during the event, which occurs from day 6 to 9 January , and Adrenaline will be there covering it all!
