4DX will hit US cinemas for the film you feel like never felt – Shifter

Cinemas NOS end of formalizing a partnership with CJ 4Dplex Co that will allow you to see for the first time in Portugal, the best blockbusters in various dimensions, with 4DX technology. The first country theaters with this technology will open during the first half of the year, in Lisbon and Porto.

Innovative, this is the first multidimensional technology adapted to commercial cinema, offering the audience a visual and audio experience unprecedented, with effects and sensations synchronized with the movie.

Each room is equipped 4DX in order to achieve more than 20 different effects, maximizing the feeling of involvement and integration in the film. The chairs are equipped with an electronic system allowing movements simulate numerous sensations like flying, falling, accelerating or braking. The room also allows to recreate environmental and contextual effects such as wind, water, rain, fog, aromas, among others, in perfect tune and sync with the onscreen images.
