A group of hackers called FailOverflow demonstrated at a conference what appears to be the first to hack a PlayStation 4. And to prove it, published a video recorded during a presentation where they managed to run Linux and playing Pokémon on the console.
In the video below we can hear the audience applaud when it proves that managed to bypass the system security and also when the presenter runs to Pokémon editing changed, named Pokémon PlayStation Version.
The FailOverflow group have been over the years those responsible for being able to bypass the security systems of the various consoles such as the Wii, Wii U and PS3. To date no one had achieved something similar with the current home console from Sony.
The hacker group also proved to be very impressed with the architecture of PlayStation 4, praising the engineers who created it.
