Microsoft will no longer support Internet Explorer 8, 9:10 – IGN Portugal

Everyone who decide to stay with some old version of Internet Explorer may be required to change browser or an upgrade, given that Microsoft does not plan to support more versions 8, 9 and 10 of its browser already from the 12th of January.

The company explains that the support will end next week with a last update.

The company encourages upgrading to Internet Explorer 11 or Microsoft Edge for Windows 10.

Those who wish to stay with the old versions will run security and virus risks, as well as problems with the use of other programs as the case of Office 365.
