The announcement of the new Need for Speed leaked ahead of time when rally driver, Ken Block, posted pictures of his new car on Facebook, a Seven Gymkhana Ford Mustang. Among the promotional logos of different brands you can see twice named “Need for Speed No Limits”, leading to Electronic Arts to confirm its development.
Currently the production of series Need for Speed is in the hands of Ghost Games, which had said that a new game would not be released this year and the next chapter of the franchise would be dramatically different from the others. The question is whether the team referred to a shift in focus to mobile platforms rather than consoles.
