Apple sued over ‘theft’ of the SMS iMessage – Digital Journal



     
 Apple was sued by a consumer in May this year, in a battle that became a federal lawsuit. Soon, the company must face the unhappy former client in court. The plaintiff in the action, Adrienne Mooore, accusing the company of stealing text messages received by your number after you have exchanged your iPhone for an Android device.
 

Since the release of iOS 5, Apple has received complaints from former customers who stop receiving text messages when exchange platform. On the iPhone, the messages are received via iMessage, a service that sends data via plane, preventing the user spend money on SMS.

In theory, the switch to the Android user would receive messages text normally, but that’s not what happened. Several consumers reported that some messages end up never being delivered, even if the sender receives confirmation of delivery.

To solve the problem, Apple released a tool to help users who wish to change operating system and prevent their messages are never received. Simply remove your registration iMessage
