Moto X starts earning upgrade to Android Lollipop 5 – EXAME.com


 Sao Paulo – A limited group of users of the 2014 edition of the smartphone Moto X, the Motorola , has started to receive the update to Android 5.0 operating system Lollipop. Apparently, the updates are still limited to the United States, according to a report from Ars Technica and documents published by Motorola.


 


 According to the website, an unlocked version of the device was the first to present the update for users who have signed up on a test program that anticipates the final release.


 


 Previous reports said that the launch of the new edition of Google’s operating system for smartphones and tablets take place in early November.

 The main changes are related to Android Lollipop visual improvements and changes in the user interface, which now follow the guidelines of “Material Design,” a new visual language for enterprise applications.


 


 The platform features new animations, minimalist design and a new color palette, multitasking menu reworked and new ways to interact with voice commands.


 


 The Lollipop Android also brings new controls to limit notifications of alerts during meetings, for example, a new way of saving battery that can supply up to 90 minutes longer lifetime between charges, multiple user accounts, profiles, mode use for guests and new methods of security for Bluetooth connections.
