iPhone 6:06 Plus did not please both Android users … – Xpert Mobile

Users do not always remain tied to a single operating system and even if there are some more “faithful” the platform of choice, it is not difficult to find people who decided to change the OS of curiosity, out of interest or even because of appliances, such as in some cases the iPhone. However, according to data from the Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP), it seems that the former Android users are not as well satisfied with the new iPhone 6 and iPhone Plus.

The report showed that this year there were fewer users migrating from Android to the iPhone compared to last year. In 2014, 12% of iPhone buyers 6 said to be migrating from Android, while in 2013 this percentage was 23%. The launch of the iPhone 5S also provided an increased migration of customers from BalackBerry and Windows Phone.

Another interesting fact is that the old users of Android, which was already accustomed to smartphones with large screens, tend to opt more for the iPhone 6 Plus, while the former has iOS users prefer the iPhone 6. The data indicate that 31% of ex-Android users have chosen to acquire the iPhone 6 Plus while only 25% of owners have another opted for the iPhone version of the new 5.5-inch iPhone 6 instead of 4.7 inches.

The report also says that those coming from the pro Android iOS is increasingly preferring smartphones top of the line, ie, the latest releases from Apple. That’s because 85% of people who migrated from Android Pro iOS in 2014 bought an iPhone 6 in 2014, while in 2013, 52% of people who migrated chose the latest release at the time, the iPhone 5s.

Thinking about these users, Apple even launched a kind of manual for those who are coming from Android not get too lost in his platform and in order to facilitate the transition, please new consumers. Although the report of the CIRP show that number has fallen and that maybe the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus iPhone are not very popular among those who migrated, it is important to note that this report was based on a survey of just 300 people, ie a very small number compared to the number of consumers who bought Apple and their new handsets.
