The Faculty of Science and Technology, New University of Lisbon, Monte da Caparica (FCT / UNL) in Almada, clarified that fire occurred this morning in the institution’s laboratory was controlled without causing injury.
Source Volunteer Firefighters Trafaria told Lusa news agency that a fire in a laboratory oven that faculty had caused five minor injuries, which were assisted on site, and there was not need for transport to the hospital.
In a statement, the FCT / UNL clarifies, however, that “it was a small fire in an oven of a research laboratory of solid waste.”
