NASA denies rumors of America’s destruction by asteroid – Destak

catastrophic Rumors circulating on the Internet today led the US space agency (NASA) to deny that a giant asteroid threatens to collide with Earth and destroy the American continent in September.

“There is no scientific basis, no evidence shadow that an asteroid or other celestial object risk collide with Earth on these dates, “said an official of NASA, Paul Chodas, quoted by Agence France Presse (AFP).

All known asteroids are less than 0.01% likely to collide with the Earth (and become, therefore meteorites) over the next 100 years, explain those responsible for the comet and asteroid detection program of Space Agency, in a message published today.
