This Friday, the GNR strengthened finding ways present in the reservoir of Castelo de Bode in Auburn Head, sources parish, Abrantes and sent to the local Special Unit Underwater Operations (UEOS) with divers and two vessels equipped with sonar.

“The searches today were unsuccessful, despite the increase in the number of divers and sonar,” acknowledged Lusa the source of the GNR.
According to the corporation of the Fire Department of Abrantes, a 63-year-old man has disappeared in the waters of the Castelo do Bode dam in Auburn Head at the end of Thursday afternoon. “The individual was seen for the last time to swim across one of the arms of the reservoir and is missing since then,” they informed the fire department.
