Over two thousand operational fought nearly a hundred fires up at 18:45 today, according to figures released by the National Civil Protection Authority.
In total 2,083 operating intervene in fighting 97 fires.
499 terrestrial means and air assets were used 60 times were used.
Of the 50 occurrences, at 18:45 there were three activities, in particular in the municipalities of Vila Verde, and Cinfães Viseu.
Of those occurrences are in any web site of Civil Protection, which only highlights events with more than three hours since its inception and with over 15 operating.
Of the remaining fire, checked to the same period, 65 are given as closed (that ends the presence of media on site), 22 are in completion (extinguished fire with small fires burning), 3 surveillance (on-site facilities to act in case of need), and three in resolution (fire without risk of spreading beyond the already achieved perimeter).
The other three are on alert, transit means for the theater.
According to the Civil Protection, the instances registered to the 18:45, the highest number was again in the district of Oporto, with 19.
Braga and Viseu, with 12 each, were the other districts where it had registered increased numbers of fires, followed by Aveiro, with nine, and Lisbon, with seven.
In July, according to the Civil Protection statistics released on its website, were recorded 4,056 fires.
From August 1st until Monday, they were recorded in continental Portugal 2,816 fires.
The 09 and 10 August, were from the beginning of the year, which recorded greater number of occurrences, with 380 and 305, respectively
