The chairman of the Recruitment and Selection for Public Administration (Cresap), John Bilhim, wants to create an international commission of external monitoring as to increase the robustness of the methods of this entity, which currently only is controlled by Parliament.

“I still have forms of internal control. I wanted to create two years ago a commission to come to audit” said John Bilhim, told Lusa agency. But explains that turned out back because “could give the impression” that the committee had “the notion that things were not going well.”

President of Cresap even reveals that two years ago reached an invitation to an international expert “to be part of an international commission of experts who could do the monitoring of the activity” of Cresap. “I want this to happen, still could not find the best way forward,” admits John Bilhim. Without a monitoring body, in practice, monitoring is done by Parliament, the Commission of Budget, Finance and Public Administration.

“Only there were two times [Parliament], present the activity report and .? If the business plan our actions were that bad, with all that has happened, we would not be there almost every day we would be, “argues Bilhim, adding:” If only there were, until now, to present the activity report and the business plan, it is because the situations are relatively clear and there is nothing to hide here. “

” Now, I myself would like to have here an international commission [and] did not want to leave the Cresap and not leave it to work, “ John concludes Bilhim . “Not only because it must be like Caesar’s wife, but because I believe deeply that there is always something to improve.”
