With this agreement, Microsoft’s search engine , Bing, loses the character of exclusive on all platforms focusing only in desktop computers, where most traffic is generated by this search engine.

Microsoft, as expected, have their counterparts in this business, and the main, relates to the exclusive rights to sell ads on search results.

The partnership signed by the former CEO of both brands had the agreement a period of ten years. The agreement will remain almost the same, changing only for Yahoo, which is replaced by Mays flexibility to adapt some functionality the different platforms where it operates.
