Intel After 50 years, Moore’s Law may be near the end – News Minute to

Moore’s Law determines the release of more efficient processors and hence more advanced products in the technology industry at a rate of 18 months.

The Law Moore – which provides that the ability of processors double every year and a half – remains valid after 50 years, but may not be for much longer

The one that is still one of the known rules. the computer industry was predicted by Intel co-founder in April 1965 and published an article in Electronics Magazine.

According to Gordon E. Moore, every 18 months the number of circuits (transistors) available in a chip computer would double, but the price of each chip would remain constant. The processing of information by the chips also increases by 100%, that is, the technology is twice as efficient.

The idea was accurate and the semiconductor industry began to use Moore’s Law as a reference for the renewal lines, but can not get to follow it in the future, since the ability to reduce the number of transistors in the same space is limited by the laws of physics.

On the other hand, refers also to the magazine Economist, it is not possible that the price remains stable.
