New technology can unlock smartphones even with ear … – Globo.com

Yahoo! introduced a new technology that allows smartphones to unlock parts of the body. With name Bodyprint (or body printing, in free translation), the biometric authentication system uses the capacitive touchscreen as a scanner, mapping the topography ears, wrist, phalanx, palms and fingers. The technique, which should be available soon, was presented at the Human-Computer Interaction Conference (IHC) 2015 in Seoul, South Korea.
