The relationship between the Xbox and Japan has been famous ever since the locals seem to give clear preference to consoles ‘house’, including Nintendo and Sony. It is therefore not entirely surprising that the launch of Xbox in Japan One during the day yesterday, has registered little interest.
The Kotaku shared a series of images of various stores of Tokyo, who prepared for start selling the console at midnight. As you can see below, the scenario was something depressing.
Today is the turn of Portugal receive the Xbox One, with an event scheduled for the Colombo Shopping Centre in Lisbon (more details here). Hopefully the reception of the Portuguese to the new console from Microsoft is more positive than it was in Japan.
