For the first time Germany hosted the Smart Times, the now traditional annual gathering of enthusiasts of the Daimler Group urbanites mark. In this its 16th edition, the event was held in Hamburg last weekend, week, and had the presence of 3,167 fans Smart from around the world – about 50 of them Portuguese – taking as an authentic festival of urban life, where also present music, cuisine and, of course, the brand models for all tastes and sizes.

And there was even room for the realization of a flea market, and to experience the brand models on a test track specially designed for this purpose.
It is clear that, once again, this was the ideal opportunity for fans to talk to designers, trainers and brand experts. And to jointly explore the city that welcomed them and that all offered also tours, walks on the beach of Sankt Peter-Ording, night parties, and live performances by local and international artists.

The market wholesale Hamburg venue for participants and the Smart Times 2016 visitors turned out to be a showcase of creativity and demonstration of automobile passion. Still, and as already being the practice, it was the parade of closing that most captivated the majority of attention. This year, participated in no less than 1,635 vehicles, 30 of which are Portuguese, which now represents a new record of initiative -. 1,427 car registration it was beaten reached in Cascais in 2014
The question the city of Salou in Spain, chosen for the 2017 edition of Smart Times, able to hit the mark now reached the Hamburg streets.
