Last week, the TeK reported that had been discovered a new exoplanet (planet that is beyond the limits of the solar system) orbiting the star Proxima Centauri and appeared to have conditions very similar to those found on Earth. This finding was attributed to the European Southern Observatory (ESO), but at the time this entity has refrained from making any comment on rumors.
However, it seems that the ESO can confirm or disprove the veracity information. According to Universe Today, the observatory called a press conference for tomorrow. Despite not knowing for sure what the theme of the meeting, it is speculated to look into the discovery of this “new earth.”
